Rose Awards Allow Heights Businesses to Say 'Thanks'
The Chicago Heights Business Council is asking local businesses to nominate standout employees and colleagues.
Local business owners will once again get the opportunity to show appreciation to those around them next month.
Chicago Heights businesses will gather for the second year of the Rose Awards, this time at the .
One of the highlights of the event is its emphasis on honoring the people that matter in the day-to-day operations of Heights businesses.

There really aren't any restrictions on who business owners and managers can nominate for a Rose, according to Chicago Heights Business Council Executive Director Susan Wolf.
"This is a wonderful way to recognize someone that perhaps works behind the scenes, someone who goes the extra mile or a client that you have enjoyed working with," Wolf said.

Premium members of the business council can attend the awards for free. Regular members must pay $18, and non-members must pay $25 to attend. The fee pays for lunch from and a Rose Award for each honoree.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 7.
