Honor Flight Chicago needs help in locating WWII veterans for this year's special one-day trips to Washington, D.C.

Memorial Day may be over, but itβs not too late to help show your appreciation for the WWII veterans in your life with a complimentary day trip to Washington D.C.Β
Since 2008 the program Honor Flight Chicago has treated over 4,000 veterans to an honorary day-trip to Washington, D.C., but thereβs still over 20,000 local WWII vets who still havenβt had the chance to experience this hard-earned gift of appreciation. Three remaining flights are scheduled this year: June 12, July 10 and Aug. 7.
If you want to make sure more heroes get the honor they deserve, here's a few simple things you can do:
