Hoosier Nabbed Filching Quarters From Coin-Operated Car Wash Vacuum Cleaner: Cops
The Indiana man had hundreds of dollars in quarters in his car, police said.

An Indiana quarter thief was caught red-handed while breaking into coin-operated vacuum cleaners at a Beecher car wash, police said.
Hobart resident Daniel Joseph McGraw, 29, was spotted holding a crowbar and standing near a vacuum at the Beecher Car Wash on Dixie Highway about 2:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving.
Officers then “discovered several machines were broken into and several hundred dollars in quarters were recovered from a bag inside the vehicle McGraw was driving,” police said.
McGraw was taken to the Will County jail and booked on charges of theft, criminal damage to property, possession of burglary tools and driving on a suspended license. He also had a warrant out of Calumet City for allegedly failing to appear in traffic court.
