Mother Believes Daughter, Son-in-Law Dead after Chicago Heights Fire
It is still unclear whether the fire caused the deaths, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Two are dead after an overnight fire broke out in a home in the 200 block of East 24th Street in Chicago Heights, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Local woman Everlina Hill believes her daughter Lillian Harrison, 47, and son-in-law Lamont perished in the fire, she told Sun-Times Media.
The Cook County Medical Examinerβs Office did not confirm their identities but did say a man and woman in their 50s died in the fire, according to the report.

According to reports, a man and a woman, both around 50 years of age, were pronounced dead at St. James Hospital early this morning following the midnight fire. Early reports lead Chicago Heights firefighters to believe three children may have been trapped in the house, but none were found in a search, the Tribune said.
There were no working smoke detectors in the home. No other properties were damaged.
