Matteson Man Arrested in Connection With Beverly Shooting
Chicago Ald. Matt O'Shea says that police have arrested a man in connection with the May 15 shooting.

A man is in custody in connection with the May 15 shooting that occurred on the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway in Beverly.Β
Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th) says that Chicago Police and the U.S.Β Marshals Service were able to track David Twine, 29, of Matteson, to Arkansas were he was apprehended Friday.
Twine was identified by police as the suspect in the incident that left a man in his 30s in critical condition after he was shot multiple times in the foyer of his apartment building.

It is believed that the shooting was not a random act and that the victim and suspect knew each other, O'Shea said at the time. Police believe that the shots were fired after an argument between the two men.Β
