More Coronavirus Deaths In Hazel Crest, Olympia Fields, Harvey
Four more coronavirus deaths were reported to have occurred in the area on Sunday.
SOUTH SUBURBS β Four more new coronavirus deaths were reported Sunday in south suburban Cook County. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed two of the weekend deaths occurred in Hazel Crest, one in Olympia Fields and one in Harvey.
A 74-year-old woman on March 28 and a 94-year-old man on March 29 were the deaths reported in Hazel Crest. The woman died as a result of pneumonia due to the coronavirus infection, with diabetes mellitus as a contributing factor, according to the Medical Examiner's Office. The man died of a result of pneumonia due to the coronavirus infection with hypertensive arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus as contributing factors, the Medical Examiner's Office said.

A 63-year-old man died in Olympia Fields on March 28 as a result of pneumonia due to pneumonia due to the coronavirus infection, with hypertensive cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus as contributing factors.
A 78-year-old woman died in Harvey on March 29 as a result of pneumonia due to the coronavirus infection, with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertensive-arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus as contributing factors. The manner of death is natural.

Deaths related to the coronavirus have already been reported in all three municipalities.
Statewide, more than 1,000 new cases of the coronavirus were reported during a 24-hour span on Sunday.
