Angry Road Boss Sued by 2 Men - 81 and 63 - Over Snowplow Beef
A suburban road commissioner, who’s facing criminal charges, is now being sued by men he allegedly beat up after they complained about a snowplow knocking over their mailboxes. Dennis McPartlin, 65, remains the top man in New Lenox township’s road department despite both the civil suit and the criminal case. When the two men showed up at his office with pieces of their mailbox, McPartlin started pushing them around, the lawsuit and criminal charges allege.
Baby Girl Left Outside to Die Overnight in Chicago
A newborn baby abandoned outside a North Side Chicago apartment building Wednesday night, found just before midnight and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, died of exposure. Police said evidence of embryonic fluid at the scene indicates the baby was a newborn. The infant’s umbilical cord was still attached.
