Good Neighbor

Dawn O. Jackson, 33, of Country Club Hills, was arrested and charged with improper use of registration after police said she was stopped near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Orchard Avenue for having license plates from a different car on her vehicle. Jackson claimed she had not transferred her plates to her new vehicle yet, but when police checked the new registration number, it came back as stolen, reports said. Jackson told police her neighbor had obtained the new sticker for her as a favor.

Warrant Arrests

  • Police said Jasmine D. Dampier, 21, of Country Club Hills, was arrested in connection with a Sangamon County warrant for not appearing in court. The arrest happened after she was stopped near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Governors Highway for driving with an obstructive view, police said.
  • Police said Adrian A. Jones, 19, of Matteson, was arrested in connection with a Matteson warrant for resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license. The arrest occurred after Jones was stopped near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Brookwood Drive for not wearing a seat belt, according to reports.

Carefree Paul

Paul J. Good, 33, of Tinley Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police said he was stopped near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Western Avenue for crossing over the curb multiple times. Good failed three sobriety tests and was taken into custody, where his attitude was "talkative, carefree, cooperative," according to reports.

Tased, Shackled and Cuffed

Nathaniel M. Jones, 26, of Park Forest, was charged with two counts of battery and obstructing a peace officer after he shouted obscenities at police from the passenger's seat of a vehicle that had been pulled over for a traffic offense, according to reports. Police said Jones was taken into custody after refusing to remove his hands from his pockets at the scene, and became unruly at the police station, shouting obscenities and violent threats at officers. Jones banged his head against the jail cell door and attempted to attack police before he was tased, shackled and handcuffed, reports said.
