On His Game: Bloom's Munoz Doesn't Hide His Love of Soccer

Notching a big win against a rival takes teamwork, discipline and skill. The had all three clicking in a 1-0 victory over Crete-Monee on Tuesday.

Bloom head coach Kelly Gutierrez said the win meant a lot to the team, which had suffered a 4-0 loss to Crete-Monee early in the season. And Gutierrez said senior sweeper Raymundo Munoz has been a key factor for her team's success.

“He's been our sweeper for the last couple of years and he's very sure of himself,” she said. “The guys all have absolute confidence in him. He just instills that confidence factor in them. He just settles them.”
