TUESDAY, MAY 8
Unwanted Nudity
A 20-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police her ex-boyfriend was texting her to engage in unwanted conversation. The 33-year-old Chicago Heights man also posted nude photos of his ex on his Facebook profile, according to the report. Police saw three texts in the woman's phone from the ex, according to the report.

Love and Marriage
Lakenya Jones, 32, of the 300 block of West Holbrook Road was arrested and charged with domestic battery after her husband told police she struck him in the head several times with a closed fist, according to the report. The husband also told police Jones tried to kick him down the stairs. The man temporarily resolved the argument by telling Jones he would sleep on the couch, but the argument picked back up the next morning, according to the report. Jones told police her husband violated an order of protection when he told her to "Get the (expletive) out."
Active Store Owner
Ruben Hernandez-Perez, 37, of the 200 block of East 25th Street, was arrested and charged with retail theft after personnel at Heights Fresh Market told police they sawΒ Hernandez-Perez take a 24-case of Bud Light out of the store without paying, according to the report. The owner of the store chasedΒ Hernandez-Perez down and detained him until police arrived, according to the report.Β

THURSDAY, MAY 3
DUI
Sandra R. Wright, 45, of the first block of West 23rd Street, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped her near the intersection of 25th Street and Chicago Road at 3:14 a.m., according to the report.
