Punches and Hair Pulling
Marquis Nicholls-Jones, 24, of the 400 block of West 16th Street was arrested and charged with domestic battery after a woman told police he punched her in the back of the head and pulled her to the ground by her hair, according to police.

Don't Mess With the Citgo Guy
A 36-year-old Matteson woman told police she was in her car in the parking lot of Citgo at 1524 Chicago Road when an employee of the gas station pulled up in a white van and aggressively demanded she park her car in a parking zone. The woman didn't like his tone and an argument ensued, according to the report. The employee finally said "(expletive) park your car or I'll drag you out and do it myself!"
Crotchety Car Kicker
Maurice Johnson, 36, of the 1600 block of Hilltop Avenue was arrested and charged with criminal damage to a vehicle after a Chicago Heights woman told police he got into an argument with her, became angry and kicked her car.

Public Intoxication
Quincy T. Benmon, 33, of the 200 block of West Hickory Street was arrested and charged with public intoxication after he was seen yelling obsenities and causing a disturbance in the 400 block of West 16th Place, according to police.
Gas Canned By a Friend
A 19-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police her 21-year-old "friend" from Sauk Village punched her in the face, arms and torso. After she hit the man back, he grabbed a gas can and struck her with it, according to the report. The woman refused medical treatment.
Corona Flavored Capers
Jesse J. Deloach, 38, of the 200 block of Indianwood Blvd. in Park Forest was arrested and charged with retail theft after an employee at Chicago Heights Fresh Market saw him tuck a 24-ounce bottle of Corona into his clothing and walk past the cash register to leave, according to reports. The employee detained Deloach until police arrived and took him into custody.
