Police Blotter: Two People Shot by Unknown Assailants

Two Shootings
A 37-year-old Chicago Heights man told police he was shot in his right hand while he was walking near the intersection of 14th Street and Green Street. The man, who said he couldn't see who shot him, transported himself to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, where his injury was treated, according to police.
A 23-year-old Chicago Heights man told police a man walked up to him in the intersection of 12th Street and Washington Street, pointed a semi-automatic handgun at his face and said, "Give me the money." The man tried to wrestle the gun away from the suspect and was shot in the right foot before fleeing to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, where his injury was treated, according to police.
TUESDAY, MARch 8Possession of Cannabis
Keith M. Sunivelle, 20, of the first block of West 15th Street, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police saw him at Citgo in the 1500 block of Chicago Road clutching his left pants pocket and running away, police said. After catching Sunivelle, police found a bag of what later tested positive for cannabis in his coat, according to police.

Man Reports Beating by Four Men
A 35-year-old Chicago Heights man told police he was beaten by four men when dropping off a friend near the intersection of 14th Street and Wentworth Avenue.
Criminal Trespassing
Michael D. Lockhart, 31, of the 1100 block of Emerald Avenue, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing to property after he had an argument with a woman he was dating and refused to leave her home, according to police.

Window Smashed
A 47-year-old Chicago Heights man told police he saw two men throw a brick through his kitchen window. The two suspects fled toward Hanover Street, according to the police report.
Window Dreams Dashed
David J. Wloch, 36, of Hoffman Estates, Paul M. Knight, 27, of Park Forest, and Rafal W. Maslo, 34, of Prospect Heights, were all issued citations for attempting to sell windows without a permit near the corner of Peyton Drive and Lerose Drive, according to police.
