Remains of 3 Bodies Found in Riverdale Home

The remains of three people were found at a Riverdale home near 139th Street and South Dearborn Wednesday night, reports the Chicago Tribune, and State Police have joined local authorities in the investigation.

State Police say they are conducting a “death investigation,” but no other information has been released. The discovery was made at about 7:30 p.m.

WGN News reports that three bodies were found by the widow of a former funeral home worker who lived in the house. He died two weeks ago. A casket was also removed from the garage, as well as “body parts,” and several tombstones were found on the property, reports WGN, describing the scene as a “garage of horrors.”
