Richton Park Veterans Day Parade Ends With Ceremony
The event Saturday morning begins at Southland College Prep Charter High School and travels along Sauk Trail.
RICHTON PARK, IL — The Village of Richton Park and VFW Post 311 will honor active duty and retired military personnel with the fifth annual Veterans Day Parade this weekend. The procession will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, starting at Southland College Prep Charter High School, 4601 Sauk Trail, and traveling along Sauk Trail to Richton Park's Metra station.
Participants in the parade include Richton Park resident, local elected officials, businesses, school bands and representatives from neighboring communities. A ceremony will be held following the parade at the Metra station.
