Passenger Killed In 2-Car Crash On I-394 Near Sauk Village: Police
The southbound lane of the highway was closed following the early Monday morning accident.

SAUK VILLAGE, IL — A person was killed early Monday morning following a two-car accident on Interstate 394 near Sauk Village, according to Illinois State Police. The accident happened at around 12:46 a.m. and closed the southbound lane at Steger Road for an investigation.
Police said a car carrying two occupants was hit by another vehicle. The struck car was disabled in the right lane of the highway when police arrived. A front passenger of the stuck car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries.
Both the driver and a passenger in the other car were also taken to an area hospital with injuries.

I-394 southbound is currently closed at Sauk Trail, according to police.
