Teen in Critical Condition, Heights Police Suspect Gunshot Wound to Face

A Sauk Village teen is in critical condition after being found in a Chicago Heights parking lot Saturday, according to police.
One day after a dead body was found on Otto Blvd., police were called about a "man down" in the 400 block of West 16th Street, according to a statement from .
Police saw a 16-year-old boy lying on his back with an apparent gunshot wound on the side of his face, Sgt. Tom Rogers said.

The victim was taken to before being airlifted to in Oak Lawn. He was last known to be in critical condition, according to police.
Police are choosing not to identify the victim publicly.
