Burglars Snagged $20,000 Worth of Construction Equipment: Blotter

More than $20,000 worth of construction equipment stored in a Chicago Heights garage was reported missing.
The owner told Chicago Heights police the equipment was stolen sometime during the day on March 12, according to a report. He contacted police on Aug. 27 to file the complaint.
The door to the garage was in need of repair and had been left open that day, the report states.
Through his own investigation, the equipment owner identified a man as a possible suspect.
No arrests were reported.
