• The Chicago Heights Park District asks, "Why get Dad another boring gift for Father's day this year?" The District is offering a round of golf at Chicago Heights West Golf Course along with a gift for dads.

• Because it's Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, SSHS will stay open for 12 hours straight Saturday. During this event ALL cats and kittens regardless of age will be $15!

• Annual Parking Lot Sale. Bargains galore! You can rent a 6 ft. x 9 ft. space for $15.00.

• Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Shop for household items, clothing, books, toys, more! Proceeds support .

• Where: 333 Dixie Hwy, Chicago Heights
• Date: Saturday, June 16 
• Time: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• An open air farmers market featuring growers, artisans, crafters, farmers, bakers, distributors, re-purposed goods, fundraising events and lemon shake-ups and hot dogs.  Vendor fee is $10 for a 10x10 space.
