• Centralia Man Charged In Attempted Collinsville Robbery (riverbender.com) — A Centralia man is facing a felony charge after police say he attempted to rob Sav-On Liquor on St. Louis Road in Collinsville while masked and implying he had a weapon. No money was ultimately taken, and Collinsville police worked with other agencies to locate the suspect, who remains in custody at the Madison County Jail.
