1 Killed In Fiery Crash
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District was called to a reported vehicle fire in the 8200 block of Mason Hill Road at about Monday afternoon.
WOODSTOCK, IL — One person is dead following a collision in Woodstock.
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District was called to a reported vehicle fire in the 8200 block of Mason Hill Road at about 4:50 p.m. on Monday, according to a news release from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.
Authorities learned the car had crashed into a tree and started on fire. While firefighters were working to put out the blaze they found one person, whose identity has not yet been released, dead inside the vehicle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
