1 Seriously Injured In Waverunner Crash Into Boat Pier
Paramedics responded to the residential boat pier in the 2500 block of Grove Lane in Cary Friday afternoon.
CARY, IL — One person was seriously injured when a waverunner crashed into a dock on the Fox River in Cary Friday afternoon.
Paramedics responded to the residential boat pier in the 2500 block of Grove Lane in Cary at 4:10 p.m. Friday and found a male patient unconscious near the shore, according to the news release Cary Fire Protection District.
Authorities learned the waverunner collided with a boat pier, according to a news release. Paramedics removed the patient from the water and he was transferred by ambulance for further medical treatment.

He was then taken by helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
The fire remains under investigation by the Cary Fire Protection District, andhe McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit is investigating the waverunner crash.
