2019 McHenry County Fair: Highlights, Tickets, Schedules

WOODSTOCK, IL — The 2019 McHenry County Fair is underway at the fairgrounds in Woodstock, 11900 Country Club Road, through Sunday, Aug. 4. According to the fair's website, the 71-year tradition includes several vendors, 4-H, livestock and non-livestock shows, displays, agriculture information, a carnival, and much more. Gates open at 7 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.

Admission ticket prices (senior citizens pay discounted admission) range from $5 to $25, and you can purchase tickets online or at the gate. Thursday is First Responder Day, and firefighters, EMT's and police officers who show an ID will be admitted for $4.

The McHenry County Fair Grandstand is filled with big events every night, including:

Thursday, Aug. 1

• 7 p.m.: Next Level Pro Bull Riding — $7 tickets and pit passes available to purchase at the fairgrounds.

Friday, Aug. 2

• 11 a.m.: Midwest Tractor and Truck Pulls, including Antique Tractor Pulls; free event.
• 6:30 p.m.: Midwest Truck and Tractor Pulls — $7 tickets and pit passes available to purchase at the fairgrounds.

Saturday, Aug. 3:

• 7 p.m. (Grandstand opens): Femmes of Rock and Ted Nugent will perform. Femmes of Rock take the stage at 8 p.m., followed by Nugent. Tickets for Nugent's show are almost sold out and start at $15. Tickets can be purchased through McHenryCountyFair.com.
