3 Injured In Weekend Crash In McHenry County

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Marengo Sunday evening, authorities said.
The collision happened at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday when a sedan hit a pickup truck at South Grant Highway and East Coral Road in Marengo, according to a news release from the Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts and the Union Fire Protection District.
Two elderly people in the sedan were taken to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin with serious injuries and a man in the pickup truck was taken to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Huntley with minor injuries.
