7 Injured, 3 Airlifted From Scene Of 2-Car Crash Near Woodstock: FD
Route 14 is closed in both directions as investigators cleared the scene of a crash near North Rose Farm Road that sent four to hospitals.

WOODSTOCK, IL — Three people were airlifted from the scene of a two-car accident after they were among seven people involved in the crash that took place on Route 14 near North Rose Farm Road, police said.
The accident took place at 2:45 p.m. and involved two vehicles, one of which was on its roof when first responders arrived. Two people were trapped inside the vehicle that was on its top, investigators said in a news release.

An additional five people were also extricated from the vehicles and all of them were removed within 25 minutes. Three adults were airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in serious to critical condition.

One child was transported by ground to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital with minor injuries. An additional adult and two children were evaluated on the scene but refused transport to the hospital, according to the Woodstock Fire and Rescue District.
As of 5:55 p.m., Route 14 remains closed in both directions. The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and any questions pertaining to the investigation.
