Body Of Man Missing Since Friday Found In Fox Lake: Officials
Fire officials confirmed the body of a man they had been searching for since his water tube flipped over on Friday was found Sunday morning.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The body of a man who had been missing since Friday was recovered Sunday in Fox Lake, officials said.
Sonar technicians and divers from Crystal Lake and surrounding fire departments were called to Fox Lake Friday afternoon to help search for a man who had been missing since his water tube flipped over.
According to Fox Lake fire officials, the 28-year-old man went under the surface after he and two small children were flipped on a water tube being pulled by a pontoon boat. The two children were wearing life vests and were helped back into the boat by their mother. Officials said the man was not wearing a life vest and went underwater before he could get back in the boat.
