Bus Driver Cited After Monday-Morning Accident
School bus slid on ice at Buckingham and McHenry in Crystal Lake.
A Crystal Lake school bus driver was ticketed Monday after a bus slid on ice and collided with another vehicle, reports the Northwest Herald. The accident took place at about 8:20 a.m. when the bus was turning from McHenry Avenue onto Buckingham Drive and struck a car, police said. Eight children were on the bus. No one was hurt.
