Coronavirus In McHenry County: Reminders, Resources Amid Pandemic
The McHenry County Sheriff's office reminds residents that the most important and safest thing of all is to stay home.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — McHenry County leaders are reaching out to residents and reminding them of the importance of staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to providing clarification on who should use a mask and specifically how to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.
As of Wednesday morning, there are 65 identified cases of the coronavirus in McHenry County and two deaths, according to county health officials.
The McHenry County Sheriff's office reminds residents that the most important thing of all is to stay home, as that's the safest thing to do right now.

- Stay home if sick
In addition, it's important to know that personal protection equipment, like masks (N95), "need to be used properly and primarily by medical staff and first responders who are helping others who may be ill," the sheriff's office reminds you.
