Happy Trails Fishing Derby in Cary on Saturday

The Cary Park District will host the Happy Trails Fishing Derby on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 to 11:30 am at Jaycee Park, corner of Silver Lake and Three Oaks roads.

New and experienced anglers can learn about fishing etiquette and receive a quick lesson followed by fishing in the Jaycee Park pond. Raffle prizes, goody bags, and information on fishing will be included.

Fishing poles, tackle, and bait will be provided or participants may bring their own. Anyone 16 years and older must have a current Illinois Fishing License.
