Former McHenry Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault Of A Child
Martinez-Tejeda pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a minor who was under 13 during November 2017 to August 2018, officials said.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A former McHenry man was sentenced to 8 years in prison for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child by McHenry County Judge Robert Wilbrandt Friday, Patrick Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announced, according to a news release from the state's attorney's office. Once 37-year-old Lorentino Martinez-Tejeda completes his sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections, a required three-year to life period of mandatory supervised release will follow, according to the news release.
Martinez-Tejeda pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a minor who was under 13 years old
during November 2017 to August 2018, the news release said. Upon release from prison, Martinez-Tejeda will also have to register as a lifetime sex offender, the state's attorney's office said.
This case was investigated by Sgt. Clesen and Det. Kinney of the McHenry Police Department, and was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Sharyl Eisenstein, according to the news release.
