Harvard Woman Guilty In 2018 Fatal Overdose Case
Tiera Tracy, 46, pleaded guilty to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, according to the McHenry County State's Attorney's office.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A Harvard woman has pleaded guilty to felony unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in a January 2018 drug overdose case, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's office. Patrick Kenneally, McHenry County State's Attorney, announced that 46-year-old Tiera Tracy pleaded guilty to the offense stemming from the death of a man in Harvard nearly two years earlier, according to the news release.
On Jan. 31, 2018, Tracy delivered heroin and fentanyl to the man, who officials said died early Feb. 1 from a drug overdose, the news release said.
A sentencing hearing for Tracy is scheduled for April 3, according to the state's attorney's office.

Members of the Harvard Police Department investigated the case, and it was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State's Attorney's office.
