Josephine Reina, 85, of Cary

Josephine Reina, 85, of Cary, died, August 30, 2013, in Crystal Lake. 

She was born on Dec. 8, 1926, to Salvatore and Marianne Bongiovanni in Uruguay. 

Josephine is survived by her loving children, Anne (Michael) Simon and Leo Reina; grandchildren, Natalie Simon, Daniel (Robin) Simon, Anthony (Cynthia) Reina, Nicholas (Stacey) Reina and Sara Reina; great grandchildren, Lea and Alexis Becerra, James and Jonathan Simon, Julia and Jack Reina and Evelyn Josephine Reina; sister Theresa Marino; brother Anthony Bongiovanni; many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Reina; sisters, Josephine Gelo and Gertrude Babaro; brother Joseph Bongiovanni and her parents. 

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 E. First Street, Cary, IL 60013. 

Burial will be held at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
