At about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Walleck spotted a marked Fox Lake Police Department squad car heading north on Route 12 and he began waving in and out of traffic while honking his horn and flashing his headlights. He eventually passed the patrol vehicle and then abruptly pulled in front of it and stopped in the officer's lane of traffic.
The officer initiated the traffic stop and Walleck immediately got out of his vehicle, police said. He pulled out of handcuffs and approached the officer, telling the woman that he was arresting her.
