McHenry County Man Arrested on Charges of Drug-Induced Homicide
The 26-year-old Wauconda man's bond is set at $500,000.

McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested Rolando Ramirez Aguilar, 26, of Wauconda, Illinois, on charges of drug-induced homicide on Feb. 26, police reported.
“Aguilar’s arrest comes as a result of an investigation into the death of Michael Marudecki,” McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said in a written report. “On February 11, 2015, Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a 911 call at 738 Brighton Circle, Port Barrington, Illinois.
“When deputies arrived on scene they discovered the body of Michael Marudecki on the basement floor. The Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene, and deputies searched the residence and noticed evidence consistent with a drug overdose.”

The arrest warrant was served by members of the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, the Wauconda Police Department and the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office at Aguilar’s residence in the 300 block of E. Liberty Street, Wauconda, Illinois, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Drug-Induced Homicide is a class X Felony. Ramirez Aguilar’s bond is set at $500,000 and his next court date is March 26.
