MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — McHenry County voters will cast their ballot Tuesday on candidates in primary races and referenda. We've included information on local contested races and referenda expected to appear on Patch readers' ballots:.

Referendum

Voters in McHenry County will be asked the following during Tuesday's primary:

The full referendum will read: "Should the McHenry County Board pursue a new structure of the office of McHenry County Regional Superintendent of Schools, or enter into an agreement with another Regional Office of Education to share it's services?"

The McHenry County Clerk's Office will be open ONLY for election-related activities on Election Day, Tuesday, March 17, according to its website.

• Find your polling place on the McHenry County Clerk's website.
• A handful of sites will allow for early voting through 7 p.m. Monday in McHenry County.
