McHenry Meijer Evacuated After Shopper Drops Homemade Sanitizer
McHenry first responders were called to the N. Richmond Rd. store in McHenry as a precaution, according to fire officials, the report said.
MCHENRY, IL — Everyone inside a McHenry Meijer had to evacuate Sunday due to a shopper dropping homemade hand sanitizer, the Northwest Herald reported, according to the McHenry Township Fire Protection District. Battalion Chief Kevin Sears told the news source that first responders got to the N. Richmond Road Meijer around 9 a.m. to confirm what the dropped product was and to check on those inside for any exposure.
