Motorcyclist Critically Injured In McHenry Co. Crash
The collision happened in Huntley early Sunday.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 60-year-old Marengo man was critically injured in a collision in Huntley early Sunday, authorities said.
The collision happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday when a 1993 Harley Davidson Cruiser went off the road while driving west in the 14700 block of Marengo Road, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was found in a ditch with the motorcycle partially on top of him.

The driver was taken to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Huntley and later transported via Lifenet to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville where he is listed in critical condition.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor of the crash, police said.
