New Starbucks Opening Along Randall Road in 2025

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A new Starbucks will open along Randall Road in Crystal Lake in 2025, according to city officials.

The long-awaited Starbucks, which has been in the works for three years, is slated to open near this year at 1341 Randall Road.

In 2023, the Crystal Lake City Council approved an annexation ordinance and rezoning of the property from estate to general commercial use, according to city documents. They also approved the preliminary and final planned unit development for the limited use restaurant and drive thru and a dental office.

The vacant site is located south of the CVS at Randall and Ackman roads and is adjacent to the Lake in the Hills Fen, according to city documents. The proposed development includes a 2,541-square foot Starbucks and a 4,256-square-foot dental office.

In the city of Crystal Lake's most recent newsletter, the Starbucks is listed among a handful of businesses that will be opening in the city in 2025.
