Pedal Through History with the Architectural Bike Tour

Seven-mile bicycle tour highlights history of Nunda and present-day Crystal Lake.

Ever wonder what the Crystal Lake area looked like 100 years ago? 

Pedal through the past with the Crystal Lake Park District Colonel Palmer House staff from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, for a bike tour of downtown Crystal Lake.  

This seven-mile round trip outing will explore the former village of Nunda (present day Crystal Lake) and its history, buildings and the people who owned them.

Participants must provide their own bikes and helmets (required). 

Participants will departs from the grounds of historic Colonel Palmer House, 660 Route 176, in Crystal Lake.

The program is open to all ages. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org. Program Fee: $38, Resident Discount Fee: $28. Fee includes lunch in historic downtown Crystal Lake.
