Person Killed By Train Near Cary, Metra Halts UP-NW Service
Metra said Tuesday morning its Union Pacific Northwest line service is halted after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train near Cary.

CARY, IL — Metra announced Tuesday morning extensive delays on its Union Pacific Northwest Line after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train near Cary. According to Metra, both inbound and outbound trains have been stopped after the person was fatally struck by train #603. Metra is posting schedule updates to the UP-NW Twitter account.
