Richard Moist, 60, of Crystal Lake

Richard Dale Moist, 60, of Crystal Lake, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at his home. 

He was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Chicago to the late Walter and Ann (nee Stenger). He married Donna Bostic on Feb. 14, 1983 in Las Vegas. 

Richard was an avid Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan, whose goal was to have his sons’ fulfill their dreams. 

In addition to his wife Donna, survivors include his sons, Brett and Trevor Moist of Crystal Lake; sister, Mary (Everett) Erlandson of Wadsworth, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and Ella Bostic of Hebron; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Moist. 

The memorial visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake.
