'Gray Havens' Concert; Watch Show on Patch

Clarification: The Gray Havens will be performing the concert on Thursday night from their home studio, and the show can be watched on Patch.

"The Gray Havens" band is scheduled to perform a Kickstarter Kickoff U-Stream concert at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The band members include local husband and wife musicians, David and Licia Radford, of Crystal Lake.

David Radford graduated in 2006 from Crystal Lake Central High School, and was a contender years ago on season five of American Idol.  After high school, David attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, graduating with a degree in Music Education.

Licia only started singing three years ago with her brother's band. Read more of the dup's bio here.

The Kickstarter Kickoff U-Stream concert is free, and the public is invited to watch the show, which will feature songs from The Gray Havens' last EP and upcoming album, Radford said.

The band's style is pop-folk.

"We tell lots of narratives with our lyrics," he said.
