Tickets Issued During St. Paddy's Day Detail In Lake In The Hills

No arrest were made during the recent enforcement effort in Lake in the Hills, police said.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The Lake in the Hills Police Department issued 18 tickets during a recent St. Patrick's Day enforcement effort.

Citations issued during the campaign include: 10 tickets for speeding, four tickets for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, one ticket for improper turn, one ticket for improper lane usage, one ticket for registration suspended/non-insured and one ticket for no registration, according to a news release.

The Lake in the Hills Police Department joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign. The St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation, according to police.
