Tractor Rolls Over, Kills McHenry County Man: Sheriff
According to police, the news report said the man was pronounced dead on site following the incident.
HUNTLEY, IL — A Huntley man died Sunday when a John Deere tractor he was unloading from a trailer rolled over him, authorities said, according to NW Herald. The news report added that the Woodstock Fire/Rescue Department was called at 5:45 p.m. to a home in the 3400 block of Chukar Road, where the 60-year-old man had just gotten home before the fatal accident happened. McHenry County Sheriff's Deputy Sandra Rogers told NW Herald in an email Monday that the man, identified as John Hoffman by a neighbor, was unloading the tractor near the driveway when it rolled over him.
