CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A traffic crash is snarling traffic in Crystal Lake this afternoon, authorities said.

Police said the incident happened on Route 176 west of Walkup and is causing traffic delays.

Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes, according to a Nixle alert sent by police at about 1:40 p.m.
