MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The McHenry County Conservation District invites those looking for a way to give back and get outdoors to their upcoming 2nd Annual Volunteer Fair. According to a news release from the MCCD, the fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, at Route 31 and Harts Road in Ringwood.

If you're looking for a way to enrich your life in a "fun-filled way," the MCCD encourages you to come to the fair and meet volunteers and staff from all of their programs. You can also ask questions about the perks of being a volunteer, how to register, drop-in programs and important dates, according to the news release.

No experience is necessary for most volunteer positions, just a willingness to learn, the district said in the release.
