Woman, 23, Hit And Killed By Vehicle In McHenry County

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 23-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car in McHenry County Monday, authorities said.

The woman has been identified as Abigale Fugett, 23, of Johnsburg, according to a news release from the McHenry County Coroner's Office.

Fugett was hit by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Running Brook Farm Boulevard and North Richmond Road. Fugett was taken to Northwestern McHenry Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
