Woman Seriously Injured, 4 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash
The two-vehicle collision happened Sunday afternoon at Route 47 and Charles Road in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK, IL — Five people were injured, one seriously, in a rollover crash in Woodstock Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 2:35 p.m. at Route 47 and Charles Road, according to a news release from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District. A woman who was ejected from one of the vehicles was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with serious injuries.
Four others were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

A portion of Charles Road, as well as the intersection of Route 47 and Charles Road, remained closed for hours following the collision. The roadways reopened by 7:30 p.m., according to authorities.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
