Woodstock Woman Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Delivery

According to the McHenry Co. State's Attorney's Office, the woman reportedly sold dozens of grams of the drug twice in Woodstock.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A Woodstock woman accused of selling dozens of grams of cocaine back in December 2017 has pleaded guilty to felony unlawful delivery of cocaine (15 to 100 grams), according to Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney. Along with her guilty plea before the Honorable Robert Wilbrandt, Daisy R. Cazares, 35, was sentenced to nine years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, according to a release from the state's attorney's office.

On Dec. 15, 2017, Cazares reportedly sold 57 grams of cocaine in Woodstock, before reportedly selling another 140.8 grams of the drug in Woodstock on Jan. 4, 2018, the state's attorney's office said.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case, which was prosecuted by Brette Dunbar of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office, the release said.
