$3,581 In Liquor Stolen From Darien Store: Cops
In another case, a woman was arrested on a DUI charge after parking in the middle of Oldfield Road, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Retail theft
- Suspects stole several bottles of liquor valued at $3,581 at Darien Liquor, 8125 Cass Ave. The theft was reported about 8 p.m. Friday.

- A driver's license and a food stamp card were stolen from the center console of a car between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Nov. 26 at the Chestnut Court shopping center, 7511 Lemont Road.
DUI
- A 28-year-old Joliet woman was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Friday on charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession. Police were called about a car parked in the middle of Oldfield Road. The car was found, and the 28-year-old woman was arrested.
- A 25-year-old Lemont man was arrested about 2 am. Nov. 28 on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured car. Police said the man swerved several times across lane boundaries and almost struck a raised median near Exner Road and 75th Street. He was stopped at 75th and Fairview Avenue. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Damage

- A bathroom door was damaged between Friday and Tuesday at Darien Community Park, 7100 Clarendon Hills Road. The damage was estimated at $3,500.
- A front door to an apartment was damaged about 7:15 p.m. Nov 28 in the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive. The damage was reported 15 minutes later.
