Biker Roars Past Darien Cop, Then Flees: Police

The officer later found the motorcycle at a business. The suspect was arrested.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter. Here is information from the reports:

Aggravated fleeing

  • About 11 a.m. Oct. 14, a Darien officer could hear a loud engine coming from behind on 75th Street. The officer saw a motorcycle with no license plate. The motorcyclist was speeding. When the officer tried to stop the man, he did not stop and ran a red light. The officer found the motorcycle parked at a business. Bobby Milton, 50, of Hammond, Indiana, was arrested on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding, driving an uninsured car, disobeying a traffic light and improperly displaying license plates. He was issued a pretrial release.

Stolen car

  • A car was stolen between 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday at a house in the 9000 block of Darien Woods Court. A laptop was in the car.

Domestic battery

  • A 26-year-old Darien man who lives at the Extended Stay America hotel, 2345 Sokol Court, was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at his home on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
